>There is SO much criticism about US F and how it's the worst F in the air...
>but is it really worse than any other airline domestically?
YES
>From BOS-ORD, a 2.5 hour flight, there was NO food or snack served - not
>a pretzel or a peanut.
At mealtimes I've generally had a proper meal on UA.
>Bulkhead seats on the 757 have 2 inches of legroom - you're locked in place
>like in a torture chamber.
I've got a 32.5 inseam and am marginally uncomfortable on 1CD on a UA 57.
1AB are better. Rows 3, 4, 5, 6 are much better on UA.
>Bulkhead on 319 has a cutout, but you can't put your legs up like you can
>on the US 319/320.
I don't understand this. Do you mean putting your feet up on
the bulkhead? Yick.
>Airbus F seats not as comfortable as US airbus F seats - headrest wings
>don't "bend"
Yes, they do, I believe, on most aircraft.
>No "bottomless" snack basket
US does win on this one count. I wish it still offered the Rugers, though.
>Middle armrests are smaller than US
[never noticed]
>Only 8 F seats on the 319 so reduced upgrade opportunity
But 24 on the 57. Plus domestic use of 47, 67, and 77.
>Food is no better, no worse, no more plentiful than US
For meals, UA has it all over. For snacks, US. I agree, a tie here
for shorthauls. For longer flights, US is a joke.
This from someone with at least 20 domestic F flights a year
on each of these two airlines.
