Tahoe ski house rental?

Hi SF Bay Area FTers...

My wife and I are avid snowboarders and would like to rent a ski house in Tahoe for the ski season (Jan-Apr or thereabouts). The house we rented last year is available but our rental partners (3 other couples) have bowed out for the year (each for their personal reasons)... so we need some new rental partners. Alternatively, we need a line on a cheaper place!

Clearly, I don't know most of you, but we here on FT share common interests and I'd much rather ask here than look on Craigslist or some other random place. If anyone is interested, please contact me ASAP.

Apologies to the mods if this is not the appropriate forum... please move it if needed.

The place we rented last year is in Kings Beach (on the north shore). It's a quaint and charming area, convenient to at least 5 major ski resorts, good dining, and even local casinos. It's a 3-bedroom 2-bath house that can sleep 10 comfortably. It has a full kitchen, 4-person hot tub, free WiFi internet via cablemodem, and space for 4 cars in the driveway. It's also dog-friendly.

The landlord is asking $2400/month for the 4-month season, so with 8 people we're looking at $1200/person for the whole season; 10 people yields $960/person. The price is all-inclusive so there are no extra charges.

Alternatively, we'd be quite happy to switch to a smaller place like a studio or 1-bedroom, if the price is comparable (say up to $800/mo for 4 months) and the place is dog-friendly, with internet. Anyone have a specific line on a place?

If anyone's interested in joining us for the Kings Beach house, or if you know of a good alternative, please post here or PM me... the season is coming up fast so I'd really like to get this set up ASAP. We'd prefer couples rather than singles since there are only so many bedrooms and we don't want to turn it into a total party house, but really we're open to pretty much everything since we'd like to get the rental rather than deal with motels, blackout dates, etc...

Hope to meet some of you in Tahoe...
