Nice find. The OP's previous story was (IMO) completely made-up and bogus. There's no way in the world the -only- hotel near O'Hare was downtown and cost $500 a night. It's just simply not possible. If all hotel rooms in a city are really sold out for real, then you go outside the city (i.e. to the burbs) instead of downtown to find a room.

This latest story is (IMO) more of the same. It's a bogus tale, with even higher stakes (damaged computer, had to purchase new software, etc.) If this trend continues, it will be interesting to see how high the stakes grow in the next story.

This latest story is bogus because a kid is required to have his own seat, -and -if a kid were really misbehaving that badly, the FA would either make the kid behave, or pull the "security" card. Planes have landed in the arctic for infractions less severe than in this report.

As to why people would even want to log on here and make up bogus stories: I have no idea.
