At a fundraising auction for my daughter's elementary school PTA, I won an "hour of flight simulator time" for me and three guests at Alteon's Seattle Training Center.

The certificate I received doesn't specify the type of simulator although pictured on the cert is a 777 simulator. According to the Alteon website, the Seattle Training Center has simulators for 737-700, 737-800, 744, 752, 772, 773.

I don't know if I'll get a choice of simulators, but if I do, does anyone have a recommendation for a first-time simulator experience? Also, any recommendations for preparing for this experience?

I haven't yet set a date for this, but I will call tomorrow and try to schedule a time within the next two weeks. FYI, the item was listed in the auction as having a fair value of $800.
