Are you referring to the many paradores in PR? Many are very nice but unfortunately many are crappy.

The second link lists the ESJ TOWER (a timeshare). Once a TA inadvertently made reservations there for a weekend vacation and it was TOTALLY HORRIBLE ie dirty, water on the floor, smelly refrigerator, 1 of 2 elevators broken etc (we wanted the nice El San Juan Hotel And Casino next door). They were nasty and would not refund our money but we could not take the grime and booked the Caribe Hilton.
