I don't take my baggie out until the last second just because it's one less thing to hold on to as I approach security. A few times I couldn't find it in my carry on quickly enough without holding up the line. I just leave it in there knowing either no-one will say anything or TSA will gladly find it and dig it out for me. No need for me to search my bag when someone else will do it for me.
