Another thing to watch:

On a recent flight AUS-DEN-LAX I had been confirmed in F for the entire trip. The Agent asked me if I wanted to use my e-upgrades or paper. I used 3 paper upgrades. The next time I checked my summary, I had been credited 3 e-upgrades and debited 2 for AUS-DEN and 2 for DEN-LAX. I wish United would just go back to the old system.
