Have you stayed at a Rodeway Inn or Econolodge?
Those hotels (on the far right of the main page in this link) http://www.choicehotels.com/

...are on the lower end of the chain in terms of quality of room and services offered (on the east coast anyway).

Roadway Inn and Econolodge don't participate in the Choice program either. Basically, these 2 chains are cheap, low end, interstate highway type of properties.


Quality Inn on the other hand is steps above the others; while Comfort Inn (if you believe what you read), is the high end of the chain.

I haven't stayed at the other properties.
