If you do a search, ticketed pax were not charged the surcharge.

It was given there would be a surcharge.

There was much speculation that SQ 221 would be the 380.
Many booked and ticketed and were not charged the surcharge.

My husband & I booked and confirmed "F" on SQ 221 in September. I had the option to ticket, and my TA did say ticketed I would not pay surcharge.
Lets just say there is good reason I chose not to ticket the booking in spite of assurance from my TA.

So there is no reason to say shame on them sorry to disappoint you.
