n5177c: Glad to hear your parents enjoyed the touch but the reality is that the parking (and even the valet parking) is totally free... as all hotels on the strip (at least the 8 or 9 ones I've tried).

We stayed at PH Oct. 3-5 and had a great stay. As Gold, we got upgraded to a large resort room (560 sq ft) , although not renovated...but it was still in decent shape. The bathroom was huge. Tumbs up to their breakfast buffet at $13.99 minus $5.00 for hotel guests (just show your key). No construction noise heard. A bit dissapointed by the pools. Nothing wrong but nothing to write home about. The casino has very high ceilings and is not stuffy like most of the other ones.

We stayed at MGM Grand Oct. 5-8 and although it was good, the family preferred the "feel" and athmosphere of PH. PH is better (more centrally) located. MGM's pool complex is large & superb but then cooler temperatures are ahead.
