United rebooked me in February for a SAN-CLT set of flights because they didn't think I'd make the connection at ORD. The agent gave me the United form for getting credit for a cancelled flight. Took me a month to finally send it in but I did receive UA miles for both flights on the SAN-CLT route plus the miles from USAir for the flights I did take. Seems like the SAN agent made it easier than usual to claim the UA miles though..
