My experience with the online claim form has been good (where you can use it) - file by 9am, approval by about 6pm, credit over night (AY flights) ^ However, I had a problem with one flight that was cancelled after pushback and the system rejected the claim. I e-mailed the EC with all the details (ticket number, flight details, fare basis, booking class, dates, PNR, etc., etc. - everything) and got a bog standard BAngalore reply (admittedly within only a couple of hours though) asking for ticket stubs and BP. To which I then replied and pointed out I could not send ticket stubs for an e-ticket, and had no BP stub, but had provided every single bit of info they could possibly need and requesting it be passed to a supervisor in my local service centre to contact me if required. I received another reply the day after saying they would look in to it and it could take 4-8 weeks or something like that. Under a week later, the flight appeared in my account ^
I suggest you do the same - pre-empt the BP question by pointing out you've already sent them. It doesn't hurt to work it from multiple angles - just be firm and very detailed in the e-mails.
