LK knows perfectly well how uncomfortable CO Y is. He's ridden in CO Y plenty of times, and remember he is a very tall guy.

The current CO business model is largely predicated on the density of the Y cabin configuration. Sure, they could change things around, even add an E+ section. But this would disrupt LK's finely tuned money machine.

The only way things will ever change is if people just stop flying CO Y in sufficient numbers and at high-enough fares that the business model no longer makes sense.

If anything, the opposite is true right now. In fact, the only change I foresee is the move to 30" seat pitch with the next generation of ultra-thin ultra-hard "high tech" torture chambers...er...seats.

That's the next frontier in airline travel.
