And here is where it gets interesting: they brought me the real thing, but served Cava to the other people who asked for champagne (you can easily tell by the color). And surely, this was not at the FA's own initiative?

BTW, they have a new wine spin doctor: some guy named Ken Chase who lives in Oakville while apparently doing a PhD in oenology part time in Australia. You would think they could do better than tell the world they are using some poor grad student to pick their wine?

(Name reminded me of Mr. Chase, who was my daughter's junior high French and wrestling teacher. Who seemed to us to know more about wrestling than French, although we eventually found that he has a degree in French. He is now a liberal MLA, one of two elected in Calgary last time.)
