That is a good point. I don't have a solution for it at the moment. When things are good between the employees and the pax, it's usually easy to get the employee's name so that a nice letter can be written. I've written 5 such letters in the last 4 months. However I have heard many stories where employee/pax relationships have been "tense" and the employee was able to remain anonymous while the passenger's identity is always known or readily available. It makes it very difficult for a pax to get any kind of satisfactory result when he/she has been mistreated by an employee and cannot identify said employee except by a vague description. Perhaps a rule requiring employees to not wear but to supply an ID# when requested?
