I'm sorry to hear this news. But I posted a year ago about this hotel. It's terrible. I was there when it rained, and the atrium leaked terribly. Slippery floors everywhere. I would never return to ES Baltimore and I told them as much. It's no surprise that the roof collapsed given that they ignored the water problems for a long time.
Yikes I stay there frequently. It seems to be a fairly common Embassy Suites designed hotel. I'm concerned that other hotels might be built to the same specs which certainly makes the free evening beverages a little less desirable.
