We were at Gomo gomo last week for the fifth time; it is superb and I am sure you will enjoy it. We always fly to HDS and get picked up; it is about a 45 min drive to the camp; The camp is rustic and open which is what we like; there seems little point paying a fortune for spa treatments in the middle of the bush when there is so much else to do. On our last trip we saw a couple of lion kills a leopard kill and saw all the big 5 along with lots more. We enountered elephants and hippo on our walks and even did a spot of giraffe poo competition spitting! yuch. We had elephant and hippo in camp.

Do go for a tent they are much the better option and number 4 if you can get it.

Up at 0530; tea and rusks; out for a drive stop for coffee ; back for breakfast; laze around , shower, then lunch then a walk then eve drive to the bar and dinner round the fire fab! Drinks are the only thing you pay for extra and they are cheap.

Say hi to the lads for us; particularly jaques and oscar; remind them of the 4 aussie girls and the debauched night we had; rangers with hang overs tut tut!

Have a great time; take a torch and something warm to put on early morning and night it gets chilly; One evening they even met us in the bush with a birthday cake!

If you can spend a couple of nights in Franshhoek ; fab foodie place; petite ferme for lunch, reubens dinner and Bouillabaise; (say hello to ingrid and camil), cape town is great to and we rarely have any time to go on the scene; far too much eating and drinking to do.

Let us know if you want any more info

Was in Gomo gomo with my bf and another gay couple but we found the place sooo straight (management, rangers, etc.)!

More gay friendly in Mbabane Swaziland at the Lodge, which is a must.
