I signed up for the fall double points promotion -- waiting for trips to be posted to see whether this year's bonus points count toward status.
I made Select status last year and will probably make Select Plus this year by making a lot of trips on regional service. Since the minimum number of points is 100, the points for shorter trips can mount up pretty fast. You may get points for additional segments by making a "Thruway" bus connection -- if the number of the bus is different than the number of the train.
You've gotta ride, though. :-)
