Anyone want to wager that Ms.Miklos is looking for a new job as a result of her actions?
Serving passengers anything that is not airline approved is one of the strictest no-no's in the book. I personally know multiple F/As who have been suspended or even fired (not at UA, but at other carriers) for similar situations. One actually involved nothing more than offering a passenger a breath mint while chatting in the galley.
I think Ms.Miklos might have had good intentions, but she overstepped the line as far as her job function was concerned. She is not a catering manager - if the flight is loaded with no food then that is how it shall be.
