I think they hired the budget cutters from Fairmont Hotels, they just can't stop. lol
That would be hilarious - suddenly random people are providing additional food service on random AC flights to replace service cuts. Hand out cards with it explaining that the cost is negligible but AC cut it so it's being provided by cutomers who would have otherwise paid 2x or 3x the fare but since the service is gone, would rather use the extra $ to provide their own service to the flight.
Actually the cost is significantly more than the cost of the raw materials/supplies for these things, but it's still small in the scope of the ticket.
