I did a quick search but didn't come up with anything...if anyone has a link to a thread where this was discussed before I'd appreciate it

The scoop is that I was NW gold when I made my reservation from SEA to SJU (about 2 months ago) and just very recently made plat. I called CO to ask if they could update my status and after getting shuffled around a bunch I was told that it was not possible and since the reservation was made when I was gold then gold is what I get. Doesn’t seem to make much sense

Has anyone had any luck in a situation like this? I’m traveling with a friend and the plat perk of companion upgrades on CO would be very nice to have!

I should mention: I asked the CO rep to remove and re-add my WP #, no luck. Also tried on the CO site (its now within check in time) and I can change my friend's WP number by not mine.
