Don't know about SPG but 6 nights at good IC cost 240K PC Points where 6 nights VIP award at a good Hilton property is 175K HHonors points.

There is practically no capacity controls for HHonors awards if you are Diamond but I have not had too much trouble redeeming at IC's sans the best ones i.e Amstel in Amsterdam.

IMHO the value of PC Point is less than that of HHonor point.
