I agree with benoit and laguardiaguy. Haven't been flying as much last year and this year as previously, so it's nice to still have several hundred thousand miles (on Delta, US and AA-not even counting our remaining LatinPass miles) in the bank which I did not blow on upgrades available for use for free tickets for upcoming family vacations. Sure, the upgrades would have made me more comfortable on those business trips, but I'd rather have the vacation with the family.
