Free rountrips for leisure travel and upgrades for business travel. I am not doing a good job of using enough points, because as a 1K, I get almost every flight upgraded using the free certificates that United supplies.

I am planning to take my wife first class to Europe or Asia. I am hoping that I can get saver awards, but considering that my time is not extremely flexible, I may have to use standard awards.
