Is 'intermediate' considered midsize and fullsize vehicles? My account is set up to automatically reserve fullsize, and almost every EA is fullsize, so I always figured whatever you reserve, the location puts in EA. Am I wrong? I reserved an SUV at LAX and there was one waiting in EA. Should I have gone to the counter or checked with an attendant before I took it?
Emerald Aisle is for use by Emerald Club members on mid-size (aka, intermediate) reservations. If you have reserved any other class of vehicle (e.g., full-size or SUV) you go to the Emerald Reserve section for that type of vehicle and select a vehicle from that section. As a general rule, Emerald Club members should never reserve (and pay the higher price for) a full-size vehicle since you can typically secure one on the Emerald Aisle while only paying for a mid-size.
