I said that the statement lists the booking reference. That should be enough. It's not her fault, she is just passing on the info from another team who I feel don't have a clue.
Is it worth a couple of thousands miles to give them details I feel are irrelevant? I think not....

MBNA and BMI need to sort themselves out.
I had to same situation and scenario.
However I thought it was worth the extra 1000's of miles (otherwise I would not have the card

) so I persevered and gave the details even though they were on the statement.
The extra miles were credited the following month.
I have so far only found ONE MBNA member of staff that actually knows what they are doing.
The 'points' department are a back office who can't be contacted directly.
Overall MBNA are total muppets.
