On AA.com, it is stated that mileage claims for AY flights should be made by mail or fax. The online option isn't offered. However, when you go to the online request form, AY is one of the options in the airline drop down menu.

Does this mean that in practice, you can make AY claims online at AA.com? I presume this is what you did, and it worked, right?

I have made an online claim once for an AY flight at AA.com, actually more or less by accident, but I don't know if it worked because I chose to be sure and fax the info as well, and in any case it took several weeks for the miles to post because of the AY IT fiasco.
