And to add insult to injury, I'm on the EMB 170 IAD/DFW. It's not a bad plane for a short ride (750 miles); but 1100 + miles!
Just flew that trip today. Really quite nice in F. Sit in 2A and sleep, have your snackbox, and it goes by like THAT. (Caveat - I'm fortunate enough only to have been in Y on that flight once). If you are in Y, sit in 3b - huge legroom (but no seat in front). Other seats in row 3 are pretty roomy.
