Even as a NW Plat, KL refused to let me choose my seat on a TATL flight until check-in (even after calling and politely requesting a seat towards the front of coach), then assigned me a seat in the back with no-recline! I was able to change at check-in, but thankfully it was a near empty flight. Some partner.
