What you people are forgetting is KL, like most other European airlines, has a flexible configuration between the front and rear cabin. The cabin divider is very movable! KL's front cabin is called Europe Select and isn't really business class anymore (used to be a dedicated 2-3 configuration). Seating is still 3-3 on the 737s, exactly like the back with maybe a little bit more pitch. All you get up front is a better meal and better drinks selection. Nothing more.

As for getting a emergency exit row, be prepared to lose it. KL can switch between any of the 4 737 (backbone of the 4 intra-European fleet) models it operates (733, 734, 738, 739). Planes can be switched between the time you check in and the time you fly. If you are really unlucky, you'll lose your aisle or window seat and get upgraded to a middle seat in Europe Select.

KL seems to seat elites towards the front at any rate.l
