I think I had the same meal on my YOW-YWG flight the other evening on a CRA. I found the cold beef/potatoes quite tasty and large portions, and all metal cutlery. The health bar was an odd inclusion which I took with me to munch on over morning coffee while reading the GLOBE.

Since part of the J service is use of the MLL, the OP didn't mention the opportunity to have a fairlly substantial salad and soup prior to the flight. The enhanced catering in the MLLs has offset the needed inflight cutbacks for tose in either cabin, and demonstrates AC is providing more than adequate food for its elites.
