Yes, fuselage cameras would be great, and I love them on other airlines, but it's unlikely you'll be seeing them on a US carrier anytime soon. I believe the reason goes back to AA 191, a DC-10 that crashed immediately after takeoff from ORD in 1979. The passengers onboard watched the accident unfold via a nosecam before all were killed. This factor increased the cost of settling with the victims' families, and effectively ended the feature onboard US carriers.
when i was a little boy my dad told me about this story and that it was the reason we didnt have camera views anymore. the passengers basically got a live shot of their own deaths.
