Quite pleased with the service so far, this is my first visit since before Katrina.
Valet has been fine but they wanted $26.95 per day so I've been parking 1/4 mile down from the hotel in an open lot for $10 per day.
Upgraded to Jr Suite on 41st floor w/river view. just LOVE watching the ships/barges on the Mighty Mississippi.
Had roomservice, pass on the gumbo, smoked duck quesadillas were great.
Also as far as restaurants go, skip ACME Oyster and get to Felix's right across the street.
Ate a new place for me called Couchon
http://www.cochonrestaurant.com/ which is only about 7 blocks from the Sheraton (5 from the casino). Quite excellent.
