I'm at 99% or so though I fear that with the new configurations I may not be so fortunate (since three or four cleared at the gate--and once, from MUC to IAD, I was the last to be upgraded and another time my upgrade cleared only because a connecting flight from ORD to IAD was delayed because of weather).

Once my upgrade didn't clear but as I sat in 30B on a 777 lamenting my fate to a FA, a young woman behind me interrupted me and demanded to be upgraded since she was a 1P and had the 30K miles to be upgraded. The FA went away, came back, and told her that she could have my seat instead (plenty of legroom) as she handed me a new BP for 12A! My only op-up in years!

And then once on a 747 to FRA from IAD, all classes were overbooked and I had a long night in Y, in the first row of coach, with a guy to my left who kept jabbing me the entire flight.
