I tried a couple of camera stores in Charlottesville and they were particularly unhelpful! I ordered from Adorama based on the info here, and hopefully the 18-200 will be there when I arrive .

I still am not sure what to do about a tele lens. I think that a long prime will be just too much lens for my skill, and I don't want to be changing lenses all that often. I would consider buying (and maybe reselling) if it is cheaper than renting.

I think that we will be doing a safari with Rhino tours, and hope to book in a couple of days. Any experience with them?
