The Skykit form has a check box for "Spillage", but I assume it means on you or your seat, not the floor. Had it been on the seat, I would expect either Seat or Suite checked also.
For having to stand a few minutes, even I would not have expected compensation
. Spoken as someone has collected several Skykits for very legit inconveniences.
I find that most FAs do not give them out unless asked. Some give them out willingly as they are also dissatisfied with the poor maintenance. Others give them out grudgingly.
