Actually, Daze was exactly right. Where I'm from "a dog's breakfast" is any ungainly assortment mismatched by size, shape, colour, or type. That certainly describes the crazy quilt of FF program miles that I have on about 10 carriers besides UA and is the phrase that always comes to mind when I look at my mileage spreadsheet.
