The hotel is nice -- basically your average Westin, and it's easy to forget you're planted in the middle of the burbs. A movie theatre, Target, and lots of restaurants (not to mention a mall) are within reasonable walking distance, and a second mall is within a short driving distance. The plat checking in ahead of us was informed about the lounge and the check in person commented that there is "a lot of extra paperwork with platinums." We, lowly golds, were thanked for being gold but got no upgrade, no free water, etc. We appreciated being asked at check in if we wanted to take advantage of 4:00 check out. We found that the employees in general were very friendly. There is a huge parking lot with free parking.

We didn't check out the pool, but room service was a total disaster for breakfast.

I'd return.
We're at the hotel right now in a suite (that we paid for) on the 17th floor. There were some things at check-in that weren't done as well as they could've been, but the managers today went so far above and beyond to take care of it, that Westin should have them do trainings for other managers. We are just amazed at the way the managers made us feel so valued.

Random other notes for future guests:
We ordered an appetizer and desert from room service. They asked how many guests there were. We told them 2. They brought one fork and one napkin.

In addition to the free parking lot (which was full when we arrived), there is a free parking ramp connected to the building. It is to your left as you face the entrance. The elevator opens up just behind the registration area.

The executive lounge was nice for appetizers -- nuts, cheese, olives, brownies, apples, crab rangoon, and spicy chicken skewers -- but the attendant left for about 20 minutes (asking first if anyone needed anything). For breakfast, they had cereal, fruit, bagels, coffee cake, yogurt, coffee, and juice. (No water (unless you asked for a warm bottle of water) or any soda.)
