Just delete the offending persistent cookies from mymileageplus.com and then you can access the 1K site.

Workaround for when the 1K site says you are not a member I added the "nomorecookies" tool referenced by the OP. That tool is only for IE.

I had not idea the I had given info on this problem so much. The bomb programmers are just idiots. They have no concept of how to handle cookies properly.
