The infamous cookie monster struck again this morn as I tried to hit the 1K page to ask for early deposit of the 4 SWU for 08. I could log into .bomb & it correctly showed me as a 1K, but when I went to 1Konly, I was denied entry with an error message telling me I was not a 1K. Go figure.

A call to the ICC tech support revealed they could hit my 1Konly page with my login & password, so they gave me the famous fixall advice of "just delete all your cookies." UGH, I've done this 3x before on earlier glitches. I complained that this forces pain on me due to multiple other sites I use that have valid cookies & I would like to know the name of the offending UA cookie, so I could selectively delete it. This request for top secret info was a "too hard" for tech support as they only had the 1-size-fits-all fix of "delete all cookies."

She did offer to register my request for the 4 early SWU's, so mission partially accomplished .

I subsequently fixed my problem by downloading the freeware program "No more cookies" which can be found at http://www.nomorecookies.com/home.html
This program allows one easily to view and to delete cookies selectively. I chose to hang on to (aka authorize) the 15 or so critical cookies and to delete everything else. I rebooted & viola, problem solved & I am still good on my other key sites. Sweet fix.
