The only reference I can make is watching "Airport" (or "Airport 75"...whichever one had Helen Hayes as the stowaway). Whatever plane that was had nice wide aisles. It doesn't seem like there's enough room in a 757 to put another seat.
Of course it looked like a nice wide aisle. It was a movie set that was used for that movie, and hundreds of others.
The
Universal "747 stage", as it's been affectionately known for many years. No longer used as an aircraft only sound stage, there is another well known hollywood outfit that producers turn to.
