It's all those people who allegedly "overloaded" NW's website in last weekend's debacle of nwa.bomb who are switching to an airline with a "better" website.

Not a good year for airline websites. But hopefully UA didn't do anything stupid this time around like roll out a new site without testing... again.

Probably be back up soon. I'm actually more forgiving of an existing operational site going down on rare occasion than I am of a changed site going up with insufficient testing.
