Starwood points transfer... what should I do?

Curious to know what you guys would do.
I have about 6000 SPG points in my account. I really doubt I'll ever use them. To be perfectly honest I'm not even sure 6000 is all that much and if it can get me anything over at Starwood...
What I do know, however, is that I can convert these into miles!! So here's the deal I have 48k with Continental and if I transfer my points to CO I get 50% into miles. It gets me over the 50k which is nice for an airline that I really don't fly very often.
Other possibility as most of you know, is that convert them into AA miles at a 1 to 1 ratio. So 6000 points = 6000 AA miles. Nice...
What should I do? Keep the SPG points (I seldom stay at hotels), convert to CO (so that I can at least get to 50K on an airline that I seldom fly on), or convert to AA??
Thanks for your input!!
