BA is loses something like 2.8% of bags at this point. This is not good and in another thread I spent some time trying to identify carry-ons that would allow one suit and my laptop. I'm testing a couple.

They've not yet lost one of my bags (though AA, AF, CO, AirTran, and UA have over the years). Otherwise, I feel their treating me reasonably well. I take the day flight from BOS to LHR 5 to 10 times per year, sometimes to work in London and sometimes to work on the Continent. The Terraces Lounge in London is not bad and the First Lounge and Spa are good. Service is reasonably good (beats most European carriers) though is probably not up with the best (Singapore, CX, even Qantas on long-haul). They upgrade me when I have flown coach or WT+.

I may be mistaken, but I think there problem rate with bags is lower than a number of other European carriers. Not sure why they are all having so many problems (other than the one bag rule in the UK).
