damage has to be reported to AA in person within 24 hrs of recipt of the bag for AA to even consider taking a damage claim. Calling the 1-800 number that someone sugested calling earlier will do you no good as the agent (if you can reach one) will tell you the same thing that you need to go to the airport and file a claim in person
