Glad to hear it. For me, personally, I find the Hilton clocks annoying and frustrating, and this really struck me when I started using something significantly better.

Switch brands over the clock radio? Wow, that would be something. But you can say that about every individual aspect of stay. Feather versus foam pillow, separate stall shower versus tub with curtain, water pressure, soap/shampoo amenities, towel/sheet quality, carpet condition, etc. Is any one factor enough to switch brands over? Do they, in aggregate, make up a non-trivial part of the overall stay experience?
Ok so thats how you charge.

Like everything in the room, we're all going to have varying opinions. I still don't think they are that bad. To me they're non-trival. I don't use the clock as a clock only to play music.

So the question is why did they chose that clock/brand and what can be done to improve the product?
Is Hilton beating the competition in the clock category?
Are there significant complaints to warrant a switch of clocks?
What research and development went into selecting that specific product?
How does it play into the room cost? and would a new clock affect the price of the room?

This definitely going to be an interesting thread.......
