If there is, I don't know it. I did a google search with no result. Travel books seem to rarely cover doing laundry as well.

I realize some countries don't have coin-op laundries, either because labor is so cheap they are unnecessary or because the local population is so well off they all have washers/dryers at home. But neither exclusion applies to a lot of countries (including, for example, the U.S., Japan, U.K., just to mention a few).

Anybody got the low down on laundry?
