I'd interpret the message as they've "protected" you by "confirming" you on the later flight!

P.S.: As a further "protection" for you ,IIRC, KLM operate a business class only jet service to IAH out of AMS. You may want to ask your TA to look into that as opposed to suffering a 4am wake-up call!
