There might be an issue with having an international open-jaw at origin, but I'd be surprised if this was the reason. Amadeus is, overall, an effective booking tool but open-jaws are not its strong point. This can hinder Res agents in some instances (all this should not detract from the fact that the booking system foisted upon these agents is total turd).
I assume that all other simplicites like minimum stay, advance purchase etc are ok? I only mention this as there must be a reason (possibly availability?) that you are looking for a WFFEUR fare DUS-MIA rather than a TLRCEUR (or whatever it may be) as the flexibility of the W fare is negated by combining it with an I class fare.
Thought you might be interested ! Yes, all requirements complied with. No T availability on the otbound to MIA and happy to accept limitation of the I class. The German telesales agents do know how to set these bookings up (generally unlike UK) and when it did not work any other way, I told them to try Y for the 1st leg and J for the last, which I believe to be the correct codxes. Stll no help. German ticketing did definitely say it was the double open jaw and telesales agent confirmed that.
