So let me try to phrase this a different way. If you pay $6k for a C-class ticket from the US to India, fly UA to Frankfurt, then LH to India, does United give you credit for roughly $3k in dollars spent toward GS? I'm assuming the ticket is on UA stock.
I've asked this question multiple times before, and no one has ever ventured even a guess. I see people post their total spend or their cents/mile stats for UA, but for a mixed ticket like SFO-FRA-DXB on UA/LH how do you assign a $ amount to the UA portion?
